I launched MI Virtual Services in October 2023, while on maternity leave after the birth of my second daughter.
After 18 years working across hospitality, financial services, and NHS and private dentistry, I made a decision: I wasn't going to keep giving 40+ hours a week to someone else's business at the expense of my own family.
But I also wasn't going to stop working. My parents raised me to graft, to show up, and to do the very best I can - for myself, for my family, and for the people I work with. So MI Virtual Services was born.
If you're wondering about the name
MI are my daughters' initials. They're who I'm working hardest for - and they're the reason I pour the same dedication into your business that you do.
Originally from Scotland, I spent 15 years living in Tenerife before settling in England — so yes, you might be surprised by the accent! That time abroad gave me a broader perspective on business, people, and what really matters. I'm not a call centre or a faceless agency. Once we've agreed we're a good fit, I'll send over my terms and conditions and a contract that protects us both. Sign on the dotted line, and we're good to go.
Step 3: Let's get to work
We'll have a co-working session — usually around an hour — to map out exactly how and where I can support you. We'll agree on priorities, set clear expectations, and arrange a follow-up call to make sure everything's working smoothly.
